• Prof. Heiko Aurenz is new Chairman of the Supervisory Board

Manz Automation AG’s Supervisory Board has a new member. After the unexpected death of Dr. Jan Wittig, Chairman of the Supervisory Board, the Local Court in Reutlingen has appointed a new member of the Supervisory Board for an interim mandate, in order to ensure that the Supervisory Board is quorate. Dr. Guido Quass, lawyer and business administration graduate (BA) will assume this mandate immediately as per the court’s decision on March 17, 2010. A new member of the Supervisory Board can then be appointed at the General Meeting on June 22, 2010.

Given the appointment of the new member, the Supervisory Board elected a new chairman in its inaugural meeting. The new Chairman of the Supervisory Board is Prof. Heiko Aurenz, who was previously Deputy Chairman. The new Deputy Chairman is Dr. Guido Quass, and Prof. Rolf D. Schraft remains as third member of the Supervisory Board.
